Since we are rehearsing in the Berkeley Rep rehearsal hall, and we all love Mandy Patinkin, we decided to go see him in Compulsion. A beautiful piece loosely based on the writer of the film and stage versions of Anne Frank's diary. We all met up after rehearsal for dinner at Gather, a very cool dining spot that only serves locally grown and raised food. YUM! They had the best ginger soda I have ever had.

Night Out!!
First and foremost, a disclaimer; in this fabulous event we are missing our wonderful Mayor- Gilbert.

Then off to the show. It was a very emotional piece and Mandy was truly at his best. As were the other cast members who were brilliant. The play included marionettes which kind of creep me out in general, (and still do) but there use was understandable and even appropriate at moments.
